How Natural Mothers began...
Amy Grainger and Val Croissant began 'natural mothers ltd' in December 2006.
Amy found she was often getting stopped in the street by people asking about her baby sling and would also talk about the real nappies she used on her then one year son. She soon realised that nowhere nearby sold real nappies or slings, or knew much about them. So she spoke to family friend and business woman, Val, who thought it was a great idea...
...and so 'natural mothers' was born!
Both Amy and Val strongly believe that real nappies are far better for the environment and also save families a great deal of money.
Natural Mothers Ltd aims to help parents understand the alternatives available to them and how to incorporate them into everyday life.
Earlier this year natural mothers ltd were one of the Eastern Regional Finalists in the Barclays Trading Places Awards.
